Do you know your body’s own wisdom and how you can instantly influence your wellbeing and performance from sitting at your desk?

Use the Self-Check below and reflect on how you use breath, movement, tension release, and your senses to stay calm, clear, and effective under pressure.

Body Wisdom Self‑Check

Read these three short self‑checks and simply notice where you recognise yourself most.

1. Emerging Body Wisdom

  • I rarely use my breath, posture or movement on purpose when I feel stressed.

  • I often realise only afterwards that my jaw, neck or shoulders were tight.

  • Most days, my body feels more like something I “drag along” than a real resource.

If this sounds like you, your Body Wisdom is just beginning to wake up. There is a lot of unused potential for calm, clarity and energy.

2. Developing Body Wisdom

  • Sometimes I change my posture, take a short walk, or exhale slowly to reset.

  • I do notice tension in my body, but I don’t always know what to do with it.

  • On difficult days, I still lose access to these tools and end up exhausted.

If this sounds like you, your Body Wisdom is developing. A few simple, regular practices could make a big difference.

3. Strong Body Wisdom

  • I often use breath, movement, tension release and my senses to stay present.

  • I can usually feel rising stress in my body early and respond before I crash.

  • People experience me as grounded, clear and “in my body” even under pressure.

If this sounds like you, your Body Wisdom is strong. The next level is using it even more deliberately in leadership, communication and high‑pressure moments.
